He says "The title of the movies suggests a Thriller with a couple of twists, however audiences are exposed to disturbing, sick, survival ride." Someone asked him about a projected MPAA rating, and he responded "There is no doubt its an R rated film." He also says "Kidman delivers a brave surprising performance. It's a very demanding role as her character twists and turns, at some point she blindsided me." Now it's still uncertain if there will be any GIMP scenes, and this reviewer could be full of it.
One IMDB reviewer says the situation "gets out of control "with "torture and humiliation" involved.
And since I have a Kindle, that might be too good a chance to pass up.
Oh, and by the way, I'm also glad you decided to post and hope to read more from you! Thanks for the heads up John Galt for I was thinking of buying it because of that phoney steam scene. A new movie called Trespass starring Nicole Kidman and Nicholas Cage is set for a limited theatrical run in the fall followed by a quick DVD release.
Dear Jon Smithie: In fact: I'm Taiwanese, not Japanese, I just like to watch Japanese torture video, most of them are powerful torture and not too bloody for me.
Here is one of my favorite one: "Girl Boss: Revenge", hope you like it address: Boss Revenge 1973 DVDRip Xvi D INC EXTRAS Kamui Simon: Thanks for the link. I've been racking my brains for branding scenes but can't come up with anything really good. Ralphus wrote (to John Galt): Whatever happened on that "Camelot" series you mentioned a while back If I may jump in; I watched Camelot on Netflix.
Of course, I feel the exact same way about the current glut of torture porn movies advertised as horror, so I guess that doesn't disqualify him as a GIMPer after all.
However, I did note that in all of his movie reviews, he didn't review the remake of (or the original) I Spit on Your Grave, the remake of (or the original) Last House on the Left, or any other classic GIMP flicks. In Scream of the Demon Lover aka Ivanna (and a few other names as well), a naked woman is being racked and threatened with a branding iron, but not actually branded. There were only two scenes that were notable IMHO, one where Morgana (played by Eva Green) is casting a spell or something and gets naked. There's another scene where she pisses off the king she's allied herself with and he ties her AOH to a stake out in the heath and leaves her overnight. Now that I'm thinking of it there are several scenes where Morgana has captured Igraine and leaves her with her wrists tied in a room in her castle. No BATS scenes, but I think this was just the first season. Basically it's a mini-series like so many others we've come to know and love, filled with ruthless double dealing and occasional sex and nudity, but in the context of the Arthurian legends, which for me is a bit forced. I have some vidcaps from a Jean Rollin movie called . I have no idea what's going on, except this woman has betrayed the Vampire Queen, and is being punished. It's a surrealistic, bewildering movie, but it does have an attractive GIMP and a whipping scene that is not in the database. Why, you may ask, does she not simply pull her wrists out of the loops?Maybe when this hits DVD I can combine the two scenes to make it better. Whatever happened on that "Camelot" series you mentioned a while back?Surely there had to be a BATS scene in that, right?I have Netflix streaming so I'll try to check it out. Insomniac: I love it when we get scoops on new upcoming GIMP films, very good find.
